Music with
Purpose
and Soul
Dedicated to bringing comfort, beauty, and meaning through exceptional classical music performances across Switzerland.
Music for life's most meaningful moments
Tonora is live classical music led by our founder, a violinist with 20+ years in Swiss orchestras. He leads every performance and plays for you himself. When a duo, trio or quartet is needed, he plays alongside musicians he has performed with for years. You deal with us directly, and we take care of everything, from the music to the day itself.
Whether it's a memorial service, a wedding or a business event, we prepare every performance with care and respect, anywhere in Switzerland.
Dan Mihai Ilea
A Romanian-Swiss violinist, he has played in Swiss orchestras for more than 20 years.
As founder and artistic director, he advises you on the choice of music, builds the programme for each event, leads the rehearsals and performs himself, making sure every note is right, whether in a church, a concert hall or at a quiet farewell.
He studied at the Conservatoire de musique de Neuchâtel, where he earned the Diplôme d'enseignement instrumental (violin) and the Attestation de perfectionnement instrumental, both with distinction. He then earned the diploma Musiker MH, Interpretation (Solistendiplom Violine) at Hochschule Luzern, in the class of Prof. Gunars Larsens.
